HOPEtown is an interdenominational Christian non-profit ministry devoted to serving with the people of Lewisburg, especially with the vulnerable and needy who live on the margins. HOPEtown ministers with food, hygiene products, clothing, furniture, and household items for those in need. Rent and utility bill assistance (as our resources allow) is another way we are blessed to serve, and we are in the early stages of lightHouse, a ministry focused on providing transitional housing for those who are temporarily homeless. We provide safety and shelter for victims of domestic violence through our New Beginnings Domestic Violence Center, and we also do light home repair and maintenance through our Hands of Hope ministry. Adults and juveniles in need of a community service partner can do their hours with us as well. And our Bright Ideas summer program is one of the many ways we serve and work with children in need of extra attention.
